American singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift's re-recording project continued on Friday with the release of the new version of her 2012 album "Red".

The Grammy winner embarked on the re-recording of her first six albums after music mogul and manager Scooter Braun acquired the ownership of her former record label, Big Machine Label Group, for $300 million, in November 2020.

The new version is the second album that she has re-recorded following "Fearless (Taylor’s Version)", which came debuted in April.

Swift celebrated on Instagram the album release, saying: "Just a friendly reminder that I would never have thought it was possible to go back and remake my previous work, uncovering lost art and forgotten gems along the way, if you hadn’t emboldened me,"

"Red is about to be mine again, but it has always been ours. Tonight we begin again. Red (my version) is out now," she concluded.

The new version features 30 tracks, including the 16-track standard edition and the three deluxe edition tracks, as well as seven unreleased songs.

Among the new songs is a 10-minute version of "All Too Well" and new versions of the charity single “Ronan” and “Better Man”, a song Swift wrote for Red and was eventually released by Little Big Town as a single, as well as Swift's only take of “Babe”, a song released by Sugarland in 2018.

On the other hand, she is slated to release her short film "All Too Well" on YouTube at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.

The film is written, directed by Swift, who is also starring alongside Dylan O’Brien and Sadie Sink.

It was shot on 35mm film and will last for 14:56 minutes.

Last week, Swift made a surprise announcement that she would be releasing a 10-minute cut of her hit breakup ballad.
