Taylor Swift is bringing the excitement of her new album to the big screen. Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl will premiere in theaters in the US from October 3 to 5 coinciding with the release of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
The event, running just under 90 minutes, offers fans an experience reminiscent of Swift’s classic listening parties.
Attendees will get the world premiere of the first music video from the album, “The Fate of Ophelia,” along with behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos for other tracks, and Swift’s never-before-seen personal reflections on the new songs.
Tickets are priced at $12 in honor of Swift’s 12th album, which features 12 songs, and went on sale September 19 at 12:12 p.m. ET, quickly attracting heavy traffic online.
Swift teased the album and tracklist in August during an appearance on her fiancé Travis Kelce’s podcast, New Heights.
Shortly after, the couple announced their engagement, adding to the buzz surrounding her new release.
