Veteran Egyptian actor Tawfik Abdel Hamid will make a comeback to the small screen after 11 years of absence.
The veteran actor is set to star in actress Riham Hagag’s new TV series “Uturn”, which will premiere in the Ramadan 2022 drama marathon.
It also stars Safaa El-Toukhi, Abeer Sabry, Karim Kassem, Mohamed Kelany, and others.
The series is written by Ayman Salama, directed by Sameh Abdelaziz, and produced by Gamal El Adl.

Abdel Hamid has previously unveiled the reason behind his absence was due to the lack of good roles that would bring him back to the studios again.
The veteran actor was last seen in the 2010 TV series “Si Omar Wa Laila Afandy”, starring late veteran actress Dalal Abdel Aziz.
