Egyptian actor Tarek Abdelaziz passed away on Sunday at the age of 55. He died filming his new TV series "Wbaena Etneen" after a sudden heart attack.
In a statement, Karim Abu Zekry, producer of the series, revealed Abdelaziz was in very good health.
“The actor suddenly was felling fatigued around 03:30 PM and was taken to the hospital to receive medical attention, however, he passed away,” he added.
The late actor's funeral took place at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed after noon prayer, with his consolation marquee being held at the Mosque on the following day.
In May, Abdelaziz was hospitalized after feeling fatigued and later on, underwent cardiac catheterization and stent insertion for the heart.
Abdelaziz was born on August 4, 1968. Abdelaziz graduated from law school in 1991.
He began acting in university stage productions in 1986 and performed in a few theater troupes, including "Haraka" and "Al Wersha" with Hassan Al Gareetly.
Abdelaziz appeared in many films made by graduates of the High Cinema Institute.
The late actor is best known for his performances in TV productions such as "Ostaz wa Raees Qesm", "Rahim", "Rageen Ya Hawa", and "Dayman Amer".
Abdelaziz is also known for his roles in the films "Hammaam Fi Amsterdam", "Ashab wala Business", "Syb wana Syb", and "Febrayer Al-Aswad".
