Egyptian actress Tara Emad is set to star alongside Taha Desouky and Essam Omar in the comedy film "Seiko Seiko".
The cast also includes Ali Sobhy, Khaled El Sawy, Diana Hisham, Ahmed Abdel Hamid, and more.
Omar El Mohandes directs the film from a script by Mohamed El Dabbah.
The project marks Desouky and Omar's first major role in a film and is co-produced by United Film Production, Film Square, and producer Ahmed Badawy.
"Seiko Seiko" is set to hit theatres sometime in 2024.
Emad, born on May 11, 1993 to a Montenegrin mother, started her career taking part in a number of commercials at the age of four, then moved to modeling at the age of 14.
In 2010, she participated at 17 in the Miss World beauty pageant for teenagers that was held that year in Brazil.
Emad returned to Egypt with the title “Miss Africa” and the first-runner up for Miss World for Teens.
After high school, she enrolled in Business Administration at the American University in Cairo and pursued “acting workshops” with actor Ahmed Kamal and online with American organizations.
Emad made her acting debut in the 2011 TV series “El Gama’a” (University) directed by Hani Khalifa.
