Egyptian stars Tara Emad and Ahmed Hatem have found their next collaboration in the film "Shagle Eial".
The project is a social light hailing from director Yahya Ismail and scriptwriter Amin Gamal.
"Shagle Eial" marks the fourth collaboration between the pair after films "Al-Matarid", "Al-Molhed", and "El Haram El Rabea".
Principal photography is set to commence at the end of the year.
Emad can be seen in the star-studded film "Darwish".
The cast also includes Amr Youssef, Dina El Sherbiny, Mohamed Shahin, Ahmed Abd El Wahab, Mostafa Gharieb, Khaled Kamal, and more.
Waleed El Halfawy directed the pic from a script by Wissam Sabry. It is co-produced by VOX Studios, One to One Productions, Film Clinic, and Film Square.
The film's official logline reads: "A charming conman plans to steal a rare jewel and disappear, but when the tables turn, he's falsely accused of murder—and becomes a hero by accident. Trapped between a past that haunts him, a jealous ex, and a woman who changes his life, he must execute his greatest plan to survive."
“Darwish” hit theaters in Egypt on August 13 and across the Arab world on August 28.
Emad, born on May 11, 1993, to a Montenegrin mother, started her career taking part in commercials at the age of four, then moved to modeling at the age of 14.
In 2010, she participated at 17 in the Miss World beauty pageant for teenagers that was held that year in Brazil.
Emad returned to Egypt with the title “Miss Africa” and was the first-runner up for Miss World for Teens.
After high school, she enrolled in Business Administration at the American University in Cairo and pursued “acting workshops” with actor Ahmed Kamal and online with American organizations.
Emad made her acting debut in the 2011 TV series “El Gama’a” (University) directed by Hani Khalifa.
