Mawazine, Rythmes du Monde, will return for its 21st edition from June 19 to 27, hosting another nine-day celebration of global and regional music in Morocco’s capital region.
The opening night will feature Iconic Syrian singer Mayada El Hennawy, Egyptian Mahraganat singer Hassan Shakosh, and French rapper Ninho.
Headliners for this edition include renowned artists such as Major Lazer and Imany as well as African artist Oumou Sangaré.
Arabic music will be highlighted with performance by Egyptian artists Tamer Hosny — who will conclude the event— Marwa Nagy, Saad El Soghayar, Iraqi-Saudi singer Majid al-Muhandis, Tunisian singer Lotfi Bouchnak, Syrian singers Al Shami and Sanaa Maharati, as well as Moroccan musicians Nacim Haddad, Asma Lamnawar, Hatim Ammor, Nouamane Lahlou,

Founded in 2001 under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, the Mawazine Festival is a major music event in Morocco, drawing large crowds and international attention to the country's music scene.
Organized by the Association Maroc Cultures, the event has drawn millions of spectators each year.
Annually, the festival hosts international, Arab, and African artists across multiple stages in Rabat and Salé, transforming the two cities into a major cultural hub for nearly a week.
Mawazine is known for its wide-ranging programming, which combines global headliners with regional talent, attracting large audiences and positioning Rabat as a key destination on the international festival circuit.
The 20th edition of the Mawazine attracted around 3.75 million attendees, who gathered to watch performances by more than 100 artists from across the globe. Over nine days, from June 20 to 28, Rabat and Salé were transformed into a major stage for live music and cultural performances.
