Tamer Hosny Announces First Concert Since Health Issues

Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny announced his first concert since his return to Egypt to complete his treatment phase, following a partial kidney removal surgery in Germany.

The event is set to take place live at the Abdeen Palace in downtown Cairo, Saturday, on December 20.

Hosny, born on August 16, 1977, began his career when renowned TV presenter Salma Al Shamaa gave him his lifetime opportunity to perform at the Cairo Opera House.

During his performance, he worked alongside other rising talents including, Sherine Mohamed Abdel-Wahab; the performance was attended by renowned producer Nasr Mahrous.

Ever since, Hosny worked closely with Mahrous and released his first album, which consequently achieved great success and opened the gates of stardom and fame, not only in singing but also in the entertainment industry.

He made his acting debut in the 2004 film “Halet Hob”, co-starring Hany Salama, Hend Sabry, and others.

Hosny is known for singing “Kol Mara”, “Bent El Eh” and “Aktar Haga”, and for his roles in films such as “Omar and Salma” and “Captain Hema”.

The pop star performed many shows in Egypt and other Arab countries, including Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, Dubai, and Jordan.
