Egyptian superstar, Tamer Ashour and his wife, Samar Abu Shaka have parted ways officially.
The pair tied the knot in 2017 and separated after a six-month marriage. The couple reconciled and welcomed two years later only daughter, Ayam, who is currently with her mother.
In September 2019, Ashour surprised fans with his engagement to Miss ُEgypt, Candidate for 'Miss Universe', Darine Helmy got engaged in a private family ceremony. The couple broke off the engagement two months later.
In November 2020, Shaka addressed the controversy over her relationship with the singer.
She noted that they were still married but no longer lived together and affirmed she was sticking to the request for divorce and will obtain it soon.
Shaka had been asked frequently the reason behind sticking to her decision for the divorce, was due to “denial and betrayal”.
The differences between the couple reached the courts.
In 2021, Shaka filed a lawsuit for him to pay EGP 6,000 child support every month for his daughter. The Khalifa’s family court obligated him in another lawsuit to pay EGP 3,000 for alimony, but the singer appealed the ruling.
