Egyptian superstar, Tamer Ashour is gearing up to release a new album during the winter season.

In a phone-in with "Nogoum FM" radio station, Ashour unveiled he will begin soon releasing songs from the forthcoming album during Valentine's Day.

He added that the first songs will be available at the rate of a song every two weeks and noted he will halt the song release during the holy month of Ramadan.

Ashour released last year his studio album “Tegy Ntrahen“.

The album consisted of 10 songs and involved Ashour cooperating with many poets and composers, including Gamal Elkhouly, Hesham Sadeq, Maliki, Hossam Saeed, Adham Moataz, Madian, Tamer Ali, Mahmoud Anwar, Sameh Karim, and others.

Ashour, born on January 2, 1984, began his music career as a composer working with major contemporary musicians.

He released his album "Sa’ab" (Difficult) in 2006, which included material he’d recorded prior to 2006 as well as new music.

At the beginning of 2011, Ashour released the single "Lia Nazra", which achieved huge success both in cassette sales and on the internet.

In the same year, he began military service. Once he had finished military service he began working on his fourth album, at the end of 2013.

Ashour released more than a dozen songs and 6 albums.
