Egyptian actor and comedian Taha Desouky is attached to star alongside Ahmed Malek in the TV series “Welad Al Shams" .
The drama is scripted by Mahmoud Ezzat and based on an idea by Malek.
"Welad Al Shams" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
It witnesses Malek's comeback to the drama marathon after three years of absence. He made his last appearance in the 2021 TV series "Nasl Al-Agrab”.
"Welad Al Shams" also marks Desouky's return to drama making after the 2023 TV "Hala Khasa".
Born on September 24, 1992, Desouky is a stand-up comedy artist who embarked on an acting career in 2021 with a supporting role in the family comedy show "Mawdou Aeli".
He is best known for his roles in the 2023 film "Al Matarid" and the 2023 TV series "El Soffara".
