The Syrian cabinet announced on Saturday that the country will receive the earliest patches of COVID-19 vaccines in a few days.
Prime Minister Hussein Arnous stated that doses from China, Russia, and World Health Organization (WHO) will deliver the doses to Syria.
Therefore, Syrian Ambassador to Moscow Riyad Haddad revealed that the state will receive the first "Sputnik V" vaccine shipment this month.
On the other hand, WHO announced that it will send a number of doses through the COVAX initiative, in addition, China will send 150,000 COVID-19 doses to the country for supporting them in competing against the virus.
The Prime Minister explained that there will be a certain system for leading the vaccination rollout after receiving the shipments.
