Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariam Sadiq Al-Mahdi discussed on Sunday the peace process in Sudan and Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) crisis.
This came during her meeting with Troika countries representatives, Donald Booth, Envoy of the United States of America Bob Fairweather, Envoy of the United Kingdom, and Andrei Stansen, Envoy of Norway.
The Troika officials underlined the need to involve the international community in the efforts being exerted by the transitional government.
On her part, Al-Mahdi welcomed the visit of the Troika envoys, praising the efforts of member-states efforts and their commitment to promoting peace and stability in Sudan.
Moreover, the Sudanese minister reviewed her country's position on the GERD and its request for holding a Security Council emergency session in this connection.
