On Saturday, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdul Ghaffar announced that studying at the Egyptian universities will be resumed next Saturday.
Abdul Ghaffar asserted that the first term exams will be conducted after they were postponed for a week.
Moreover, the minister reassured students' families that all protective measures against the COVID-19 in the universities are taken such as social distancing, adding that all measures will be applied during the exams.
Finally, he underscored that all the Egyptian universities are ready for studying resumption to finalize the current academic year thoroughly during the current pandemic.
He hinted that the full details of the upcoming term will be announced after today's meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The speech came during the construction of the cornerstone of Helwan National University.
