Steven Yeun is no longer involved in Marvel’s highly-anticipated movie “Thunderbolts”.

Yeun dropped out of the project due to scheduling issues after production was pushed on the movie because of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The movie paused production in May due to the strikes and has yet to begin filming following the end of last year’s dual writers and actors strikes.

It’s unclear whether the undisclosed role is being rethought or will be recast.

Not much is known about the plot of the movie, but in the comics, the Thunderbolts are made up of villains, anti-heroes and reformed baddies — some of whom have already appeared within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It is set to bring together the worlds of “Ant-Man and the Wasp”, “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, “Black Widow”, and the upcoming “Captain America” installment “New World Order”.

“Paper Towns” director Jake Schreier is helming the project, with “Beef” creator Lee Sung Jin penning the script from a first draft by “Black Widow” writer Eric Pearson.

“Thunderbolts” features Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov aka Red Guardian, and Olga Kurylenko as Antonia Dreykov aka the Taskmaster reprising their roles from the Black Widow movie.

The cast also includes Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, and Wyatt Russell as US Agent.

Harrison Ford will make an appearance as Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross, who’ll join the MCU in "Captain America: Brave New World".

Ayo Edebiri also joined the ensemble in an undisclosed role.

“Thunderbolts” was initially scheduled to be released on July 26, 2024, but was pushed back to July 25, 2025.

Yeun recently starred alongside Ali Wong in Netflix’s “Beef”, earning him a Golden Globe nomination for best male actor in a limited series.

On the horizon, he has a role in Bong Joon Ho’s sci-fi thriller “Mickey 17”, starring Robert Pattinson.
