Veteran American filmmaker Steven Spielberg directed the music video for British-American singer Marcus Mumford's latest single “Cannibal”.
“Cannibal” marks the director's first time directing a music video in his legendary career.
Mumford confirmed the news on social media, saying Spielberg directed the entire video in one shot on his phone.
The musician also noted that Kate Capshaw served as a producer, dolly grip, and art director on the shoot at a high school gym in New York, while Carey Mulligan handled the costumes and sound.

“Cannibal” is out now, and the Mumford & Sons frontman’s solo album Self-Titled arrives on September 16.
He revealed the project while sitting in with Brandi Carlile at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles last month, where they debuted his new song “How".
On the other hand, Spielberg's next movie "The Fabelmans"— a semi-autobiographical feature on his early life growing up in Arizona — wraps up production this Thanksgiving.
Spielberg is on something of a cinema history kick, having just earned two Academy Award nominations for directing and producing his reimagining of the classic musical “West Side Story,” which is also nominated for picture, supporting actress, production design, costume design, sound and cinematography.
