The release date for the star-studded film "Al Shanab" (The Shanabs) has been pushed from November 20, 2023 to January 24, 2024.
The cast also includes Laila Elwy, Lebleba, Sawsan Badr, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Heidy Karam, Asmaa Galal, Khaled Sarhan, and more.
Ayten Amin directed from a script she co-wrote with Ahmed Raouf and Islam Hossam. "Al Shalaby" is Amin's third feature film, after"Souad" (2020) and "Villa 69" (2013).
"Al Shanab" revolves around the “Al Shanab” sisters, who reconcile their differences following the loss of a family member.
The film is also set to make its world premiere at the 6th El Gouna Film Festival, which will take place next December. The star-studded comedy has been selected to compete in the festival's feature-length narrative films category.
