The 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will take place from June 3–6 under the theme "Pragmatic Dialogue: The Path to a Stable Future," bringing together government leaders, business executives, academics, and experts from more than 130 countries and territories.
Organizers say the forum will focus on shaping new approaches to international cooperation amid a rapidly changing global economy and the transition toward a multipolar world order.
More than 150 sessions are scheduled, covering topics including the global economy, technological leadership, social development, and sustainable urban growth. The program also features business dialogues with key partners from BRICS nations, the Gulf region, Africa, Latin America, ASEAN, and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee, said the forum remains a platform for launching initiatives and developing solutions aimed at long-term economic stability and growth.
Major side events will include the BRICS Business Forum, SCO Business Forum, SME Forum, Creative Industries Forum, and the International Youth Economic Forum.
A dedicated international cooperation zone will host business meetings, project presentations, and discussions on culture, education, and cross-border partnerships, while TV BRICS will provide media coverage and conduct interviews with business and government leaders throughout the event.
