Sony Pictures announced Monday the official title for the second movie of the two-part sequel to 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”.
The studio unveiled at CinemaCon that the movie is titled "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" and is set to have 240 characters, explore 6 different universes, and it has roughly 1,000 people working on it.
“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”, the first movie of a two-part sequel, is set to debut on June 2, 2023, followed by "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" on March 29, 2024.
The sequel will follow Miles Morales, (voiced by Shameik Moore), the protagonist of the original movie as he groups up with Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac), “Spider-Man 2099”, and Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) to face off with a powerful super-villain.

Alonzo Ruvalcaba is set to co-produce along with the producers of the first movie Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Christina Steinberg.
Moreover, Lord and Miller will serve as writers on the movie along with David Callaham.
“Spider-Verse” director Peter Ramsey is also returning as an executive producer alongside Aditya Sood.
