“Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,” the third installment in Sony’s animated web-slinging trilogy, will swing back to theaters one week ahead of schedule.

The Marvel adaptation will move up its release date from June 25 to June 18. On its new spot, “Spider-Verse” will open around two holidays, Father’s Day and Juneteenth.

It will land one week after Universal’s live-action “How to Train Your Dragon 2” and on the same day as Disney’s animated adventure “Gatto.”

“Beyond the Spider-Verse” concludes a trilogy that began with 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” and continued with 2023’s “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.”

The franchise centers on Brooklyn high schooler Miles Morales, who becomes the new Spider-Man and joins other Spider-People from parallel universes to save New York City — and other multiversal locales — from various threats.

While the plot details for the third film haven’t been revealed but the story presumably involves Miles Morales facing another crisis.

“We have crafted what we feel is a very satisfying ending, and we can’t wait for fans to experience it,” filmmakers Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson said last year when they were announced as co-directors. “We’re bringing everything we’ve got.”

The “Spider-Verse” series has been a major box office force; the original grossed $384 million globally in addition to winning the Oscar for best animated feature.

“Across the Spider-Verse” was even bigger at the box office, managing to surpass the entire gross of its predecessor after just 12 days of release and ending its run with $690 million worldwide.
