Sony Pictures announced Wednesday it is pushing back the theatrical release of "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" from Oct. 7 to June 2, 2023.

The sequel will follow Miles Morales, (voiced by Shameik Moore), the protagonist of the original movie as he groups up with Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac), “Spider-Man 2099”, and Spider-Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld) to face off with a powerful super-villain.
Issa Rae was also confirmed for a voice role in June 2021.
