Gabriel Changson, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology in South Sudan, and his accompanying delegation visited on Tuesday the Religions Complex in Old Cairo, during his current visit to Egypt.
Changson began his tour by visiting the remains of the Babylon Fortress, then the Hanging Church, then the Coptic Museum, the Temple of Ibn Atrah, the Church of Abu Sarjah, and the Mosque of Amr Ibn Al-Aas.
During the visit, he expressed his great admiration for the region, which expresses the ancient civilization of Egypt, and he also directed many inquiries about the details of the archaeological monuments during the visit, which indicate his passion and interest in the Egyptian civilization and its effects.
At the end of the visit, the South Sudanese minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian leadership, government and people, and emphasized the deep roots that connect the peoples of Egypt and South Sudan.
