Iconic US boyband the Backstreet Boys performed Monday evening their first-ever concert in Egypt as part of their DNA World Tour.
The show was held at the Zed East in New Cairo amid a large crowd.
The band — comprising AJ McLean, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and Kevin Richardson— wanted to present a gig with a taste of the nineties. They performed their popular and latest hits including, “Quit Playing Games”, “I Want It That Way”, and “Everybody”.
"To be here has been on my bucket list of places to go my entire life. Yesterday, the five of us got to experience this absolutely beautiful place. We got to eat amazing food, we got to experience the culture, the people, everything… the history,” McLean told the fans.
“Sorry it took us 30 years to get here, but hey, better late than never, and rest assured, we’re coming back,” he added.

After India, the tour carries on in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Jeddah, Tel Aviv, Cape Town, and Pretoria.
