On Saturday, veteran Egyptian actress Somaya El Alfy underwent surgery after she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
In a press statement, the actress' brother revealed that she has been moved to a normal room after the operation and was in good health.
He confirmed that she woke up and is in a stable condition.
Omar Farouk El Fishawy added that the surgery was very delicate, during which a tumor was removed from the lymph system under the armpit and chest.
