Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) stated, Saturday, that the process the return of Syrian mercenaries from Libya stopped more than 20 days ago.

The last batch of Syrian mercenaries, who were sent by Turkey to Libya in order to fight beside the Libyan Government of National Accord, returned in mid-November; however, Turkey stopped sending mercenaries since then.

Turkey has stopped returning the mercenaries from Libya, willing to send a new batch from the armed Syrian factions to Libya, in the coming days, SOHR claimed.

This coincides with the development of the political settlement process in Libya.

It is noteworthy that the number of conscripts who went to Libya lands reached about 18000 mercenaries of Syrian nationality so far, including 350 children, under the age of 18.

About 10,750 of the mercenaries of the pro-Turkish factions returned to Syria after the end of their contracts and took their financial dues from Turkey.

The death toll of jihadists who arrived in Libya reached “10,000”, of whom 2,500 were Tunisian citizens.

SOHR had new information on the issue of "mercenaries" in Azerbaijan through a number of fighters who recently returned to the Syrian territories from the Nagorno-Karabakh region, calming that they received different sums of money.

Some mercenaries received 600 Turkish liras and 3500 US dollars, and there are those who received 1000 Turkish liras and 1000 US dollars, while another section received 5000 Turkish liras in two installments, while all confirmed that there are remaining financial dues that they are supposed to receive in the coming days.
