Sisi to Receive Burundi's Ndayishimiye: Rady

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is expected to receive Burundi's President Evariste Ndayishimiye on Wednesday at Ettahadiya Palace in eastern Cairo, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

On an official visit, Ndayishimiye arrived at Cairo International Airport on Tuesday evening. He will meet with a number of officials to discuss strengthening cooperation relations between Egypt and Burundi, and the latest developments in the African arena.

The Burundian President, during his visit to Egypt, is scheduled to discuss cooperation relations between the two countries in all fields, and ways to develop them in the coming period, and benefit from Egyptian expertise, in addition to reviewing the latest developments on the African arena.

On March 11, Burundi’s Foreign Minister Albert Shingiro expressed the great appreciation of his country’s leadership and people for the real interest of President Sisi in supporting Burundi on the ground and effectively.
