Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has ratified Law No. 12 of 2026 approving the final accounts of the state’s general budget for the 2024/2025 fiscal year, according to the Official Gazette.
The legislation was previously approved by the House of Representatives before receiving presidential ratification, completing the constitutional procedures required for its enactment.
The final accounts law provides an official review of the government's financial performance during the fiscal year, including actual revenues, expenditures, budget allocations, and the overall implementation of the state's financial plan.
