Sisi Calls for Launching Integrated National Strategy for Children

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received today, Saturday, writer Samah Abu Bakr Ezzat, specialized in children's literature, in the presence of Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, and discussed mobilizing creative energies for child upbringing, including thinkers, scientists and artists, to formulate an integrated national strategy to build the personality and capabilities of children from the cradle.

Ezzat expressed her honor to meet with Sisi, stressing that the success and appreciation that her writings received has strengthened her keenness to intensify her efforts during the coming period in the field of national literature for children.

She also pointed out to her recent literary project entitled: "Life and Dignity", adding that this story was inspired by the "Decent Life" initiative, which presents the achievements and goals of the initiative in a simplified and attractive way for children.

On his part, Sisi stressed that he is used to follow-up to the literary works written by the writer Ezzat, which won many local, Arab and international awards.

He affirmed the importance of children’s literature in raising awareness for future generations in a simple manner regarding the axes of Egypt’s national security and ways to achieve sustainable development, as well as raising a sense of patriotism among children.

In this context, Sisi called to mobilize the creative energies in the field of raising children, including thinkers, scholars and artists, in order to formulate an integrated national strategy to build the personality and capabilities of children from the cradle.

On the other side; Abdel-Dayem presented the activities of "Cairo, The Capital of Culture for the Islamic World" event, which will start tomorrow (Sunday) evening.

Cairo was chosen to host this event by the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The Islamic Culture Capitals Program aims to consolidate the bonds of relations between peoples that share a lot of vocabulary and elements by establishing a creative dialogue between them and enhancing the areas of intellectual communication between the people of the Islamic nation, highlighting the rich heritage of concepts that call for tolerance and coexistence before the world and presenting a true image of ancient Islamic civilization.
