Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi departs for the sisterly State of Qatar to offer his condolences on the passing of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of the State of Qatar.
It is worth mentioning that, Sisi on Sunday extended his condolences to Qatar's leadership, government and people over the passing of Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
"I extend my sincere condolences and sympathy to the brotherly State of Qatar: its Amir, government and people, on the passing of the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, may Allah the Almighty have mercy upon him," El-Sisi posted on social media.
“We pray that Allah the Almighty envelop him in His boundless mercy and grant Qatar and its people continued security and stability. Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return,” the president added.
Sheikh Hamad, who ruled Qatar from 1995 until abdicating in favor of his son, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in 2013, died on Sunday at the age of 74
