A woman has been taken into custody after firing shots into the home of Rihanna and A$AP Rocky on Sunday afternoon.
The woman, who is said to be 30 years old, fired several shots into the Beverly Hills mansion, with a round penetrating a wall of the home.
She reportedly fired the shots from her car, a white Tesla, across the street and then fled the scene.
A call was made to 911, with police responding around 1:21 p.m. Officers followed the suspect to a parking lot in Sherman Oaks, where the shooter was arrested.
According to an LAPD radio dispatch cited by the Times, the woman fired off “approximately 10 shots.”
“When they pulled the suspect over and took her into custody, they searched the vehicle and located an assault rifle and seven casings,” said Armen Arias, an LAPD spokesperson.
Police found bullet holes in a gate at Rihanna’s home and in an RV parked in the driveway, he said.
The pop star reportedly lives in a colonial-style mansion in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood with her rapper partner, ASAP Rocky.
The couple share three young children, sons RZA, age 3, and Riot Rose, age 2, and daughter Rocki, who was born in September. It wasn’t immediately clear whether anyone else was home at the time of the shooting.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told the Times that no injuries were reported. TMZ reported that officers are now investigating a motive.
