The first photos from Egyptian actress Shery Adel's new TV series "El Wasfa El Sahreya" (The Magical Recipe) has been released.

The cast also includes Omar El Shenawy, Caroline Azmi, Heidi Karam, Islam Gamal, and more.

The series is directed by Khayri Salem and scripted by Stories Factory, a specialized hub for scriptwriters and screenplay developers to promote the film/TV industry in the MENA, created by scriptwriter Hani Sarhan.

Doaa Abdel Wahab supervised the screenplay, which was based on the idea of Mai Saeed, with the latter writing the screenplay and dialogue alongside Mena Fawzi and Irene Youssef.

"El Wasfa El Sahreya" consists of 45 episodes and is set to debut soon on the "Watch IT" streaming platform.

On the other hand, Adel is planning to participate in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon with the TV series "Alf Lela W Lela".

The series was initially set to participate last Ramadan but was postponed next year due to the many preparations that the series requires, as well as the long shooting schedule.

The series is a reimagining of the classic tale of Shahryar and Scheherazade.

The cast also includes Yasser Galal, Mohamed Riyad, Yasmine Rais, Nour, Ahmed Maher, and more.

The reimagining features Galal as Shahryar and Rais playing Scheherazade.

The series is scripted by Anwar Abdel-Mugheeth, directed by Islam Khairy, and produced by Media Hub and Aroma.

“Alf Leila We Leila” will be the largest production participating in the Ramadan marathon.
