Egyptian actress Shery Adel has signed on to star in the TV series "Group El Dofaa".
The series is directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam and is set to begin principal photography in December.
"Group El Dofaa" is set to screen in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.
The project witnesses Adel's comeback to the drama marathon after 4 years of absence.
The actress participated last in the drama marathon with the 2018 TV series “El-Seham El-Mariqa".
Adel, born on April 19, 1988, began her career with appearances in advertisements as a child, followed by television appearances.
At the age of 15, she made her cinema debut in the film “Hamada Yelab” (Hamada is Playing), which was followed by roles TV series “Hayyati Inta”, “al-Mersyo al-Bahar”, and “Efreet al-Qirsh”.
The actress rose to stardom for her role as Queen Neriman in the 2010 TV series “Al Malek Farouk” (King Farouk).
