Egyptian actress, Shery Adel has recently joined the cast of actor Ahmed El Fishawy's comedy film "Adel Mesh Adel".
It also stars Mohamed Radwan, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Mostafa Abo Sriea, Nawal, Badria Tolba, Dina, and more.
The film is scripted by Adham Saeed and Hossam Kamal, directed by Ahmed Yusri, and produced by Algorio Film Production.
It marks the third collaboration between El Fishawy and Yusri after the films "Ritsa" (2021) and "45 Days" (2007).
Principal photography is underway.
"Adel Mesh Adel" is set to hit theaters on December 21.
Adel is currently busy filming her new TV series "Alf Lela W Lela".
“Alf Leila We Leila” was initially set to participate in the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon but was postponed for Ramadan 2024 due to the many preparations that the series requires, as well as the long shooting schedule.
The series is a reimagining of the classic tale of Shahryar and Scheherazade.
The cast also includes Yasser Galal, Mohamed Riyad, Yasmine Rais, Nour, and Ahmed Maher.
It features Galal as Shahryar and Rais playing Scheherazade.
The series is scripted by Anwar Abdel-Mugheeth, directed by Islam Khairy, and produced by Media Hub and Aroma.
“Alf Leila We Leila” will be the largest production participating in the Ramadan marathon.
Adel is also attached to star alongside \her husband and fellow actor Tarek Sabri in a new TV series, which marks the pair's first collaboration since they tied the knot in October 2022.
Adel, born on April 19, 1988, began her career with appearances in advertisements as a child, followed by television appearances.
At the age of 15, she made her cinema debut in the film “Hamada Yelab” (Hamada is Playing), which was followed by roles TV series “Hayyati Inta”, “al-Mersyo al-Bahar”, and “Efreet al-Qirsh”.
The actress rose to stardom for her role as Queen Neriman in the 2010 TV series “Al Malek Farouk” (King Farouk).
