Egyptian actress Shery Adel and her husband, actor Tarek Sabri are going their separate ways after two years of marriage.
The former couple announced their divorce on their Instagram Story without sharing further details.
"Me and Tarek, with all respect between us, have officially separated. May God grant each one of us the best in their life," they said in a statement.
The announcement came as no surprise as recently Adel deleted her photos with Sabri from Instagram, sparking speculations about marriage trouble.
In October 2022, the couple tied the knot last in a low-key event amid the attendee of family and friends.
The pair have been friends for six years since they worked together on the 2016 TV series "Banat Superman" (Superman's daughters).
Adel, born on April 19, 1988, began her career with appearances in advertisements as a child, followed by television appearances.
At the age of 15, she made her cinema debut in the film “Hamada Yelab” (Hamada is Playing), which was followed by roles TV series “Hayyati Inta”, “al-Mersyo al-Bahar”, and “Efreet al-Qirsh”.
The actress rose to stardom for her role as Queen Neriman in the 2010 TV series “Al Malek Farouk” (King Farouk).
