Egyptian iconic actress, Sherihan is collaborating with screenwriter Medhat El Adl in a new project.
They first worked together in the play “Coco Chanel”, which was a strong return for Sherihan after years of absence due to her illness.
The play was penned by El Adl and directed by veteran director Hady El Bagoury, who helmed 2016’s critically acclaimed film “Hepta”.
It depicts the life story of the famous fashion designer, Coco Chanel, and her world-famous fashion brand.
The play was filmed for television in 2019 and was set to be screened at the beginning of 2020, but the coronavirus outbreak occurred.
The production mark’s Sherihan acting comeback after 19 years of absence.
In 2002, she made her last film appearance in “Al Eshk Wal Damm”, starring late veteran actor Farouk El-Fishawy.
In 2016, El Adl Group signed a contract with Sherihan to present 13 plays.
