Egyptian actor Sherif Ramzy has recently joined the cast of stars Chico and Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz's TV series "Khaled Nour and his Son Nour Khaled".
The cast also includes Aya Samaha, Donia Maher, and more. It is scripted by Karim Samy, directed by Mohamed Amin, and produced by Amir Shawky.
The series marks Ramzy's comeback to acting after 2 years of absence. He made his last onscreen appearance in season three of the hit comedy TV series "El Leaba 3: El Laeb Mae El Kobar" in 2022.
It also witnesses Abdel Aziz's comeback to the drama marathon after 4 years of absence. He last participated with the 2019 TV series "Shaqet Faisal" and "Hogan".
The series consists of 15 episodes and is set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
Principal photography is underway.
Ramzy was born on January 1, 1981, to a family that worked in the entertainment industry.
His parents are producer Mohamed Hassan Ramzy and Laila Salah Zulfikar, his grandfather was director and producer Hassan Ramzy, founder of El Nasr Film Production, and the nephew of veteran actress Hoda Ramzy.
Ramzy joined the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1999 and received training courses in acting from Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hadi. He married actress Reham Ayman in 2015.
He made his acting debut in the 2001 film "Girls’ Secrets" and landed his first television role in the 2004 TV series "El Ganeb El Akher Mn Al Shatee".
His film credits also include "Agamista", "Sameer, Shaheer & Baheer", "Halet Hob", "Min nazrat Ein", "Oreedo Kholan", and "Eleyal Herbit".
Ramzy is also known for his performances in TV productions like "Al Araaf" and "Nasibi Wa Qesmetik" season 2.
