Egyptian actor, Sherif Mounir is preparing for a new TV series, which he plans to participate in during the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon.
Mounir made his last participation in the drama marathon with the 2024 TV series "Wbaena Etneen".
The cast also includes Rania Youssef, Amr Wahba, Nancy Helal, Mimi Gamal, Tamer Farag, Marwa Abdel Moneim, and more.
It is scripted by Amany Al Tounsi, directed by Tarek Refaat, and produced by K-Media Production.
Mounir, born on May 14, 1959, enrolled in the acting department of the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, following the advice of poet Salah Jahin.
He started his acting career in the mid-1980s, appearing in the TV series “Rihla El Milion” (Journey of a Million), “Bakeeza We Zaghloul,” and “Leyyali El Haleema” (Nights of El Helmeya).
In the film, he starred in several films such as “El Tawfaan” (The Flood), “Darbet Maalim” (Master Stroke), and “Abnaa’ Wa Kutla” (Children and Murderers).
Mounir got his big break in the 1990s when he played “Youssef” in the 1991 film “The Kit Kat.”
He has appeared since then in several hit films such as “Short Wa Fanila Wa Kab”, “Sihr El Layyali”, and “Welad El ‘Am”.
