Lebanese-Colombian superstar Shakira's March 28 concert at the Ayla Golf Club in Aqaba in Jordan has been postponed due to the ongoing U.S.-Israel-Iran war which has spilled out into the entire Gulf region and beyond.
The event was held as part of the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran Tour.
The concert organiser 165 Entertainment broke the news on Instagram, saying: Due to the current regional situation, the Shakira - Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour concert in Ayla Aqaba has been postponed. The new date will be announced soon. Ticket sales remain open, and all purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date. Once the new date is announced, a one-week window will be provided for ticket holders who wish to request a refund. Thank you for your understanding and continued support."

The Jordanian concert was not the only one that was impacted by the ongoing Iran war as Shakira’s concert in Mumbai, India, was also postponed.
The postponement of the Jordan and India concerts raises questions about the fate of the tour in the Middle East region, especially in Egypt, where she is set to return after nearly 20 years.
Held at the Giza Pyramids on April 7, the show marks a historic homecoming for the 48-year-old superstar, who performed last at the archaeological wonder in 2007.
So far, no official statement has been issued regarding the postponement of the Egypt concert, which means it will remain as scheduled.
The Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which began on February 11, 2025, and continues throughout this year, set a Guinness World Record as the highest grossing tour of all time by a Hispanic artist.
The historic tour grossed $421.6 million and sold 3.3 million tickets across 86 shows.
The record was previously set by the Luis Miguel Tour from 2023 to 2024, with $409.5 million.
“The music industry has grown so much compared to what it was when I started my career. Breaking this record is a new milestone for me, considering that there are so many great artists who historically have toured in Latin America & Spain,” Shakira said in a statement.
She added, “After a 30-year career, that took so much effort and met so many challenges, to be living this amazing moment is unbelievable. I can only be grateful for the loyalty and passion of my fans, who give meaning to everything I do, and without them, none of this would be happening. Without a doubt, they are the best fans in the world.”
