Lebanese-Colombian superstar Shakira has moved her highly anticipated concert in Egypt's Great Pyramids of Giza from April 7 to November 28.

The show is held as part of her historic world tour, "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran," and marks a historic homecoming for the 48-year-old superstar, who returns to the country nearly 20 years after her last visit. She performed last at the archaeological wonder in 2007.

The organizing company explained that the decision was made in light of the current situation in the Arab region, amid escalating tensions that have affected several major artistic events.

The decision was made in coordination with Shakira and her team, as part of rescheduling her world tour stops to ensure the safety of the audience and to optimize the event.

The company added that the new date in November offers a better opportunity for a wider audience, especially as it coincides with the weekend holiday, making it easier for audiences from inside and outside Egypt to participate.

The postponement also aims to provide an artistic experience worthy of the event's size and global status.

The company reassured the audience that all reserved tickets will remain valid until the new date, with the option for refunds available through the official platform.

They affirmed their commitment to keeping the audience informed of any updates regarding the concert in the coming period.

The changes is not limited to Egypt, as Shakira's concerts in the region, including shows in Jordan, Qatar, and the UAE has also been postponed as part of the impact of the current regional situation.

This reflects the extent of the fallout of the geopolitical tensions imposed on the entertainment sector and major events.
