Settlers renewed their raids on Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem this morning, Thursday, amid heavy protection from the Israeli occupation forces that obstructed the entry of Palestinians and worshipers.
Dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa in successive groups, and carried out provocative tours and performed Talmudic rituals in its courtyards.
The Israeli occupation forces turned the Old City in Jerusalem into a military barracks, imposed strict restrictions and procedures on worshipers, and obstructed their entry into the blessed mosque.
The settlers escalated their violations against Islamic sanctities, especially the Ibrahimi and Al-Aqsa mosques, in light of the great support they receive from the far-right government headed by Benjamin Netanyahu.
There were widespread calls to confront the settlers' raids by tightening their belts and guarding Al-Aqsa and thwarting their plans.
