Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik sparked romance rumors after they were spotted out to dinner together in New York City.
TikTok user @klarissa.mpeg shared a text exchange with a friend of hers who claimed she was the couple’s hostess at an unnamed restaurant in the city.
The friend wrote: "Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked into [restaurant] hand in hand making out and I seated them."
Earlier this month, Malik included Gomez in the just 18 accounts he follows on Instagram. Later on, the "Lose You to Love Me" singer followed him back.
Fans have also been recirculating a red carpet moment from the early 2010s in which Gomez is asked which member of One Direction she'd most want to kiss.
"Oh no," she answers, before quickly replying, "Zayn," with a giggle.
Malik has a two-year-old daughter Khai with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid, who dumped him in October 2021 after he was accused of striking her mom, Yolanda.
The “Pillowtalk” singer denied the claims and continued to co-parent with Gigi despite their breakup.
