Selena Gomez Sparks Engagement Rumors

Selena Gomez and her partner Benny Blanco are the latest celebrity couple to spark engagement rumors.

Gomez shared Thursday a slew of new photos with her partner on her Instagram Story and grid. In particular, one snap in Gomez’s Instagram Story caught people’s eyes: her placement of a double pink heart emoji over her left ring finger, sparking speculation about the status of their relationship.

This comes after a source told Us Weekly in July that the couple has “talked about marriage” and that Gomez sees Blanco as “definitely endgame.”

Gomez also shared a captionless carousel of photos with Blanco on her grid. Blanco commented with a simple “🥹” and reposted Gomez’s post to his Instagram Story. 

Blanco has not hidden his intentions of having a long-term future with Gomez. He told Howard Stern in mid-May that he hopes to marry and have a family with Gomez someday. 

When asked if he saw himself proposing to his then-girlfriend of almost a year, Blanco said, “When I look at her, I do say, I’m always just like, ‘I don’t know a world where it could be better than this.’” Stern asked if Blanco had a ring, and Blanco replied, “I don’t have anything. I’ve got no shoes on. I’ve got to get my act together.”

Gomez, for her part, has been very open about her adoration of Blanco. Just last week, she commented on a TikTok that claimed she never would’ve gotten “engaged” to Blanco during her “It girl” period in the 2010s. 

She ignored the engagement comment and wrote, “Kinda makes me laugh because I was so depressed back then lol.”

Last month, on her birthday, Gomez offered her highest public praise of Blanco yet: She called him the “love of my life” on her Instagram Story.
