With sadness and sorrow, Sada El Balad English Website "SEE" mourns the death of veteran Egyptian actor Mustafa Fahmy who died in the early hours of Wednesday at the age of 82.
SEE described the late star to be one of the most prominent actors in Egypt and the Arab world, praying to God Almighty to shower the deceased with his vast mercy and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.

Details regarding the cause of his death, consolation marquee, or the funeral have not been revealed yet.
Before his death, the acting legend was admitted to the hospital after suffering a sudden health deterioration.
He was diagnosed with brain cancer and underwent urgent surgery to remove a brain tumor
Later on, Fahmy was discharged from the hospital after his condition had been stabilized and continued to receive the necessary support and care at home.
Born on August 7, 1942, the acclaimed actor is an Egyptian actor of Circassian origin and is the younger brother of a fellow celebrated actor Hussein Fahmy.
He studied cinematography at the High Institute of Cinema and then worked as an assistant in "Amira Hobby Ana" (Amira My Love) in 1974.
Fahmy started his acting career the same year with a role in the film "Ayna Aqly" (Where is My Mind?).
Two years later, he got his breakthrough when he landed roles in four other films, and since then, he has appeared in more then 155 films, TV series, and theatrical productions.
Fahmy made his last onscreen appearance in the 2024 films "Al Serb" and "Ahl aal-Kahf". He starred in his last TV appearance in the 2022 TV series “Pablo”.
