SEE News website mourns the death of veteran Egyptian actor-director Hassan Youssef — who appeared in nearly 200 films and series over five decades — who died Tuesday at the age of 90.
SEE described the late star to be one of the most prominent actors in Egypt and the Arab world, praying to God Almighty to shower the deceased with his vast mercy and to inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
Mohamed Youssef, the brother of the late star, announced his death in a Facebook post but did not include details about his cause of death.
"To Allah we belong and to him, we shall return, my older brother, the actor Hassan Youssef, passed away a short while ago. May God have mercy on him,” he wrote.
The late star's funeral will be held in the afternoon on Tuesday at the Police Mosque, in the 6th of October City, where he is set to be buried afterward at Al Wahat Road Cemeteries.
No date has been set for the solace ceremony yet.
