Hollywood star Sean Penn and Australian actress Leila George are officially porced after almost two years of marriage.
George, whose legal name is Leila D'Onofrio, filed the dissolution in October 2021. She filed the marriage-ending paperwork due to irreconcilable differences that led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, making it impossible for them to live together as husband and wife.
The couple officially tied the knot on July 30, 2020, and kept their union under wraps until Penn appeared on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" a month later and announced they had a coronavirus wedding and he held up a gold wedding band.
They officially separated in late September.
Penn has a history of famous relationships. He was also married to Madonna for four years from 1985 to 1989, and then to actress Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010. He and Wright share two children: Dylan, 31, and Hopper, 28.
