The band is finally back together. The original main cast of Scrubs reunited on Friday for the first table read for the upcoming ABC reboot.
A photo from the reunion was released on social media, featuring original series creator Bill Lawrence and OG stars Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Zach Braff, Judy Reyes, and John C. McGinley.

Given a straight-to-series order by ABC in July, the new series will follow JD Dorian (Braff) and Christopher Turk (Faison), who scrub in together for the first time in a long time- medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time.
The characters, new and old, navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way.
Lawrence executive produces the reboot, with Scrubs alums Tim Hobert and Aseem Batra as showrunners and executive producers.
Hobert was a writer, executive producer and consulting producer on Scrubs; Batra was a writer and story editor. Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer will also EP the reboot on behalf of Lawrence’s production company, Doozer.
The original series ran on NBC for seven seasons from 2001-08 and then on ABC for two more in 2009-10.
It followed medical interns Dorian, Turk and Elliot Reid (Chalke) as well as other personnel at the Sacred Heart Hospital.
Of the reboot, Lawrence previously said that he envisions Scrubs 2.0 as a hybrid between a revival, revisiting original characters a decade and a half after the original series ended its run, and a reboot, bringing back the original concept with new surgical interns.
The series won two Primetime Emmys over the course of its run as well as a Peabody Award in 2006.
A premiere date for the reboot has yet to be announced.
