The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said on Saturday that it had carried out 17 operations in the last 24 hours against Houthi militias in the central Marib and southern Al-Bayda and Taiz provinces.
The raids led to the destruction of 11 armored vehicles, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported, citing the coalition.
In 2014, the Yemeni civil war began when the Houthis seized the capital, Sanaa, 120 kilometers west of Marib, prompting Saudi-led forces to intervene to prop up the government the following year.
Tens of thousands of people have died, and millions have been displaced in what the United Nations has called the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
