COVID-19: Saudi Arabia Bans Entry from 20 Countries

On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia banned entry to the kingdom from 20 countries to curb the spread of the coronavirus, according to the state news agency.

Diplomats, Saudi citizens, medical practitioners, and their families are excluded from the decision.

The temporary suspension comes into force starting today Feb. 3.

It includes people arriving from the United Arab Emirates, Germany, the United States (U.S.), Britain, South Africa, France, Egypt, Lebanon, India, and Pakistan.
