Emam last week took to social media to tease fans about a new project.
In a post on Instagram, he described the pic as "One of my closest works" and reunites him with several previous collaborators.
“I’m shooting these days what is probably the best film I’ve made so far.. with one of the best and sweetest stars in the Arab world as well as the director I love working with the most and we’ve achieved great things together before," Emam added. "It is scripted by one of the kindest writers in Egypt and produced by the strongest producers in the film industry. I hope you like it a lot.. wait for the surprise soon.”
This new project is part of a slew of works that Emam is preparing to release in the coming period.
The actor made his last appearance on the big screen in the film "El Leab Ma El Eyal".
The pic hails from acclaimed filmmaker Sherif Arafa and marks the first collaboration between Arafa and Mohamed Emam, the son of his long-time collaborator Adel Emam.
“El Leab Ma El Eyal” features an ensemble cast that includes Asmaa Galal, Bayoumi Fouad, Bassem Samra, Haggag Abdul Azim, Wizo, Mustafa Gharib, and more.
The film, produced by United Artists for Cinema and Video, tells the story of a young man who faces a number of crises and hardships that turn his life upside down in a comedic framework.
