A few days ago, Santa Claus came to town on a jet ski in Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana beach.
When he arrived, dozens of children with disability were waiting for him to receive presents.
The initiative was a joint work by the city’s firefighters and nonprofit associations.
Thiago Carvalho de Paiva, who is a firefighter, wore a Santa Claus costume under 27 degrees heat, and did a nice and surprising show by the beach after moving through the water.
The spokesperson of Rio's fightfighters department Renato Grigorovski said: “We wanted to find a special way for Santa Claus to arrive."
The day included a show by the dogs, lunch, popcorn, and refreshing snacks. The celebration peaked when Santa arrived on Jet Ski.
After delivering presents, De Paiva jumped into the water to save three people who appeared to have trouble returning to shore.
The three people returned safely to the beach without any injuries.
